Postdoctoral positions

Dr. Yang Xu's lab is looking for a highly creative and highly self-motivated postdoctoral research fellow in broad areas of additive manufacturing, robotics, mechatronics, machine learning, and polymer chemistry. This appointment starts in 2024 spring. Qualified candidates should send their CV with a publication list and the contact information of 2 references to Dr. Yang Xu (yxu195@hku.hk).

Ph.D. positions

2 Ph.D. student positions are available for enrollment in Spring 2024. Applicants should have a B.S. or M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, Robotics, Material Science, Chemistry or related fields. Highly qualified applicants are encouraged to apply for the Ph.D. program in Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering at HKU. In the application, please indicate your interest in working with Dr. Yang Xu. All the admitted Ph.D. students are fully supported either by the Hong Kong Ph.D. Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS), the HKU Presidential Ph.D. Scholar Programme (HKU-PS), or the Postgraduate Scholarships (PGS).
